This policy explains how Yellow Keys Pvt. Ltd. ("Yellowkeys", "we", "us"), based in Mumbai, India, handles personal data when you use yellowkeys.in or message us. Data we process for clients inside their ERP or automation systems is covered by the data processing agreement we sign with each client, not by this page.
What we collect
- Messages you send us. When you tap a WhatsApp button, you open a chat with us. We receive your number, name as shown on WhatsApp, and what you write or send.
- Settings in your browser. The site saves your language and light or dark theme in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and the font provider (Google Fonts) receive your IP address and browser details when the page loads, as any web service does.
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or cross-site tracking. It does not use advertising trackers or sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a project.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who sees it
Our team, and service providers that run the site and messaging (for example Cloudflare, Google and Meta, which operates WhatsApp). WhatsApp conversations are also subject to Meta's own terms and privacy policy. We share data with authorities only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry conversations for as long as needed to respond and to keep a business record, and delete them when they are no longer needed or when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to give you a summary of the personal data we hold, correct or complete it, erase it, and you may withdraw consent at any time. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you. To use any of them, or to raise a grievance, message us at +91 98192 76578 on WhatsApp. We will reply within a reasonable time and in line with the law. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
